Another year has come and gone, and here at Clean Plates, we love to celebrate in a few ways; make delicious food, sip on some of our favorite healthy cocktails, and reflect on all of the incredible stories we are fortunate to make for our readers throughout the year. And while there are so many to choose from, we can’t help but take a closer look at the recipe trends our readers particularly loved this year. In 2023, it seems our readers were all about keeping this healthy and high-protein (surprise, surprise!), and we couldn’t agree more. Here are some of the recipe trends you guys loved this year, from breakfast to desserts and everything in between.

We couldn’t help but roundup some of our favorite recipes to make with cottage cheese including breakfast recipes, dinner recipes, and even some of our favorite dips! And it seems our readers love these recipes just as much as us.

2. Mediterranean Diet Recipes

With the Mediterranean Diet being the most effective diet for longevity, and continually rated as the best overall diet to follow, it only makes sense that our healthy-foodie readers love all things Mediterranean diet.
