Do you ever get overwhelmed by the sheer number of products available in every category? Yeah, us too. So we look forward to the Product of the Year Awards to help guide us.

Every year the consumer research firm Kantar elicits the opinions of 40,000 consumers to award 46 products the Product of the Year title in various categories, everything from wellness supplements to windshield wiper blades. Consumers test each product in their homes, cars, and offices, and provide feedback on features like innovation, effectiveness, taste (for some categories – not the windshield wipers), and quality.

Kantar compiles the consumer feedback to narrow down a single winner in each category. The winners get a red “Product of the Year” seal, useful to seek out when you’re shopping for cleaning supplies and groceries.

These are our 8 favorite items from the 2024 Product of the Year Awards.

Aldi Extra-Virgin Olive Oil Spray

The winner in the Cooking Essentials Category comes from grocery chain Aldi. It’s a cooking oil spray canister with non-GMO olive oil that emits a very fine mist, convenient for lightly coating food before roasting or for dressing a salad.

Swiffer Powermop

This new mop from home cleaning giant Swiffer has a tough cleaning solution integrated into the scrubbing pad so you can skip a messy bucket-and-mop situation and still enjoy sparkling floors. Consumers love the convenience of the lightweight mop and the effectiveness of the liquid cleaning agent.

Bareorganics Superfood Coffee

This organic coffee won in the Functional Health category. The beans are fortified with ashwagandha, ginkgo, and lion’s mane: three adaptogens that may help alleviate stress and enhance focus. The coffee also contains added probiotics to support a healthy gut. If you’re going to sip a daily cup of joe, why not make it work extra hard?

Blender Bites

In the Healthy Beverage category, this frozen smoothie came out on top. Each bag contains 4 smoothie “pucks” made with berries, cherries, apples, bananas, and a blend of greens like spirulina and broccoli. To whip up an antioxidant-packed smoothie, simply pop a puck or two in a blender with water or your liquid of choice, and blend until creamy.

ZeroWater Ready-Read Water Filter and Dispenser

This water filter and dispenser won in the Home Solutions category. It sits on a kitchen counter or fridge and has a 22-cup capacity. The dispenser is equipped with a 5-stage filter to remove dissolved solids from water. Consumers preferred the purer flavor of their tap water after running through the ZeroWater.

Cloverlane Hybrid Luxury Firm Mattress

You know how important good sleep is to your health. If you’re in the market for a new mattress this year, consider this award-winner from Cloverlane. It was designed to help relieve back pain and has a firm gel memory foam core. The mattress comes in three softness levels to suit any preference.

Take Root Organics Canned Tomatoes
