At Chicago Mediterranean restaurant and lounge Beatnik, bar director Benjamin Wood gives the classic Aperol Spritz a summer update.
Frozen Aperol Spritz
- Serves: 1
Ingredients
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh orange juice
- 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3 ounces dry sparkling wine
- 2 ounces Aperol
- 12 ounces ice
- 1 half orange slice, for garnish
Directions
- Place all ingredients (except orange slice) in blender, pulse, then blend.
- Pour mixture into a glass and garnish with orange.
