Ingredients

Probiotic Ranch:

½ cup plain full-fat yogurt

¼ cup mayonnaise (preferably avocado oil or olive oil)

2 tablespoons white vinegar

2 teaspoons dried chives

2 teaspoons dried dill

1½ teaspoons dried parsley

½ teaspoon Dijon mustard

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Fine sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Wings:

3 pounds chicken wings, pat dry

Fine sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Olive oil cooking spray

Directions

  1. Make ranch: In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, mayonnaise, probiotic powder, vinegar, chives, dill, parsley, mustard powder and garlic powder. Taste and season with salt and pepper. (Yield: ¾ cup. You can make the ranch up to 2 days ahead; keep covered in the fridge. Flavor will develop as it chills. Whisk before serving.)

  2. Make wings: Preheat the air fryer to 380ºF. Season the wings generously with salt; sprinkle with pepper. Place in the air fryer in a single layer and cook for 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking time. Raise the heat to 420ºF and cook the wings until deep golden and crisp, 3 to 4 minutes longer. Serve hot, with probiotic ranch.

  3. NOTES:
Do not overcrowd the air fryer. Serve the wings as they come out of the fryer, or keep them warm in the oven as the rest of the wings cook. To keep them warm, preheat the oven to 200ºF; line a baking sheet with a cooling rack misted with cooking spray. Transfer the cooked wings to the rack and place in the oven to keep warm. If you like your ranch thicker, use Greek yogurt.
