The Healthy Snack I Always, *Always* Have With Me
I love snacks as much as the next person, but here’s the thing: I’m very demanding. I need my snacks to be portable, because snack emergencies are definitely a thing, and protein-rich. They should be healthy, with high-quality, recognizable ingredients and little or no sugar. And, of course, they have to be delicious.
I know, it’s a lot to ask, but there’s one snack that ticks all the boxes: Paleovalley 100% Grass-Fed Beef Sticks.
Why Paleovalley Beef Sticks Are My Go-To Snack
These portable sticks literally solve all of my problems (well, my snack problems, anyway): They’re made from 100% U.S.-sourced grass-fed, grass-finished beef, so they’re a fantastic source of healthy, complete protein. Flavored with organic spices, they contain no sugar (except the Teriyaki flavor, which has a touch of honey), no weird fillers, and no artificial anything. These non-GMO snacks are also soy-free and gluten-free, with no added nitrates or nitrites. Plus, Paleovalley sticks are naturally fermented, which means they’re gut friendly. You can see why Paleovalley stands out even among the higher-quality meat sticks on the market.
Just as importantly, Paleovalley meat sticks are so satisfying, and a pleasure to eat. It’s such a bummer to have a snack that leaves you hungry right after. This never happens with these beef sticks. I get hungry, I enjoy every bite, and I’m good for quite a while. They have the snap and tender interior of the far-less-healthy beef sticks of gas station fame, and they really bring the flavor. I find many meat-based snacks to be either too sweet or too salty, but these sticks are just right.
And, with back to school time upon us, I’m stocking Paleovalley for my kid, too. They’re perfect for lunch boxes, since they’re shelf stable. Knowing my kid is getting a protein-rich, no-sugar, health-boosting snack that she loves is a huge load off my mind.
Bonus: The sticks come in several flavors. Every time I try a different one, I think, “OK, this one is my favorite.” There’s the classic Original, Teriyaki, Summer Sausage, Garlic Summer Sausage, and Jalapeño (which has just enough heat, without being overpowering). Stock up on your fave, or do what I do: Buy them all, mix them up in the pantry and get a happy surprise every time you grab one.
