Preheat the oven to 325F. In a food processor or stand mixer, combine the flour and salt for 10 seconds. Add the cream cheese and butter in bits and pulse to combine, or mix to combine in the stand mixer for 1 minute on high speed.
Remove the dough from the processor, and place on a parchment-lined large baking sheet. Gather into a ball and using a rolling pin, flatten into a smooth disc. Freeze for 1 hour.
Cut the circle into quarters, then cut those quarters in half, then cut those halfs in half. You should have 16 skinny slices of dough.
Spread any filling you want onto each slice. Tightly roll up from the widest piece to the point. Place point down on the baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes or until lightly golden.
