Even a small piece of this sweet-and-savory chocolate bark makes for a totally fulfilling dessert. Nutty tahini, or sesame paste, is mixed into melted white chocolate, then swirled with rich dark chocolate. Since there are so few ingredients in this dessert bite, buy the best-quality chocolate and tahini that you can — every ingredient is going to stand out here. And be sure to buy chocolate bars and not chocolate chips for this recipe. Chocolate chips have stabilizers in them that don’t melt as well for chocolate bark.
MAKE AHEAD The chocolate bark can be prepared up to two days in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
Dark Chocolate Tahini Bark

4 ounces quality white chocolate, coarsely chopped
¼ cup smooth tahini paste
12 ounces quality dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
Toasted sesame seeds and flaky sea salt, for sprinkling (see Note)
Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate and the tahini. Microwave on HIGH in 20 second intervals until the chocolate begins to melt. Stir until smooth and completely melted.
In a separate medium microwave-safe bowl, microwave the dark chocolate on HIGH in 20 second intervals until it begins to melt. Stir until smooth.
Pour the dark chocolate in a puddle in the center of the prepared baking sheet and spread it into a large rectangle (roughly 8-by-12-inches), using the back of a spoon or an offset spatula. Drizzle the tahini-white chocolate mixture on top, then use a toothpick or the tip of a paring knife to lightly swirl the layers together. Be careful not to over-swirl your chocolate or you will lose the definition between the two chocolates.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and flaky sea salt. Transfer to the freezer or refrigerator until hardened, about 30 minutes. Break into pieces and serve. Store any extra pieces in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Be sure to use toasted sesame seeds for garnish. Even if the sesame seeds you bought came pre-toasted, a few minutes in a skillet over low heat will intensify their toasty, nutty flavor.
