Pancakes—one of our favorite indulgent brunch dish. Traditionally they’re just straight-up comfort food, something to enjoy on a lazy Sunday when you don’t actually have to accomplish anything else for the day (#CarbComa). But we love them too much for that—we want pancakes more often, but we also have to adult most days. So we found 10 healthier pancake recipes that let you indulge but also bring some nutritional value. From oatmeal-packed pancakes, to stacks of paleo flapjacks, grab the maple syrup and read on.

Loaded with shredded carrots and tasty spices, but free of grains and sugar, these pancakes are a treat you can feel great about. Try slathering them with coconut butter instead of maple syrup—it’s almost like having actual carrot cake with frosting.
